Hello, I’m Bertha, and I’m the founder of Journey Christian Counseling & Coaching. My mission is to add value to the lives of those I work with, with a special heart for empowering women.

I began my journey in ministry by obtaining a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministry from Zion Bible College and continued my education with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. Over the last four years, I’ve had the privilege of working in private practice, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through life’s challenges. I draw inspiration from my own journey, where I was supported by pastors and counselors during tough times, and I’m committed to being that person of support for you.

Along with my husband, Yony, who is the lead pastor at Journey Christian Center, I serve as co-pastor. We are blessed to raise three wonderful children, trusting God for wisdom in parenting..

In addition to counseling, I offer personal growth and development coaching, particularly for women.

My personal growth journey began in August 2019, and it was one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Through books, audiobooks, and other resources, I learned to overcome procrastination, manage time, finances, and emotions, and focus on continuous growth. It’s a journey I continue to walk, and I’m eager to guide others on theirs.

With training from the Maxwell Leadership Team, I’m equipped to help others reach their full potential and live intentionally.
